To do that, you need to drag &amp; drop the surface (from the Multi-Tree) into the Explorer tree, while in the Analysis tab. This will create a surface object for analysis purposes, with settings such at mesh discretization (minimum edge length).<br />
To perform the interpolation itself, select <em>both</em> (using the CTRL key) the E field (say) and the Surface, then click <em>Interpolate Field</em> in the ribbon.</p>
