I would like to export the E-field (overall field) to a custom grid. For example, I would like to compare the E-field in a plane perpendicular to antennas placed around the a femur before and after posing. Currently since the E-field can only be extracted according to the global coordinates, I am not able to extract the values I would like.

I would like to extract E-fields perpendicular to the antennas even when posed (the grid remains constant between static and posed models since it is relative to the antennas).

How do I proceed with this?

Thanks

Thank you. I tried it but would like to plot the fields on a grid between antennas (as shown in red in the image). It is easy when the model is static but when posed, I am not able to get a grid at an angle.

Thanks

drag the antenna surface (where you want to obtain the perpendicular field) into the analysis explorer

interpolate the field onto the surface (select the field and the surface, then choose the Interpolator tool)

select normal projection (there is also tangential projection)

visualize with a surface viewer

if the surface is too coarse, edit the faceting settings of the antenna, or remesh.
