    Hello,

I have a question regarding simulating multiple antennas. I have placed 8 antennas in a circle and simulate them with a gaussian pule. Despite the 8 antennas being identitical and with only air between them, the reflection parameters are different between the antennas (shift in frequency and magntidue). What can cause this and how can I rectify it? I have attached images of the setup and the S-parameters?

And the differences in S-parameters seem to be with alterante antennas. for example antennas 1,3,5,7 (counting clockwise) are similar and antennas 2,4,6 and 8 are similar.

The brown ones are for odd antennas and yellow for even number. But all antennas are identitical

    Thanks

Could it be due to discretization? Like edges are longer when they are at an angle?

Hi, yes it is due to the discretization. You can compare the voxels of the dipole arms and the edge sources of, for example, dipoles # 3 and 4.

Thanks Ofi. How can I fix this or is this something I need to account for?
