Modelling current stimulation
-
Hello,
I am trying to model transcutaneous stimulation. As far as I am aware, this can be done by setting the voltage at the electrodes as boundary conditions. I was wondering if there is a way of creating a current stimulation instead where the current is set rather than voltage. If not, is there a way to get the impedance between two points in a model?
Thanks!

hi
i guess you could scale the voltage and field in a post-processing step.
- for that you could measure the current in your simulation (flux evaluator + current density), and then scale your field so the current reaches the desired value.
- you can also measure the impedance from the measured current.
