I need to draw an ellipsoid

Hi, i'm trying to draw an ellipsoid. I've already seen here a post about it, it said that i should create a sphere and then click to "move" and then again to "stretch". Now, the problem is that if i select move, the new menu at the right of the figure (the one in which there is the stretch function) doesn't show up, anyone can help?
