Nanoparticle photothermal therapy modeling
-
Hello everybody,
With my biology group we're currently creating metallic nanoparticles for photothermal therapy. We're going to measure their heat conversion capacity. I would like to model the heat change in a tumour due to the presence of nanoparticles who a laser has been shined on. However, I do not know how to simulate the presence of nanoparticles. Does anybody have advice on how to do this?Thank you very much for your help!

Hi Anna, I see that nobody answered to your question. Were you able to run this type of simulation? I would like to to a phototermal therapy as well using metallic nanoparticles with a laser. I am not sure if with sim4life this type of simulation can be done or not. If you could tell your experience on this, it would be great.
Thanks in advance for your time and help,
All the best,
@AnnaGol
