Sim4Life 9.6 - Unable to select Simulation Type from "New" menu on Windows 11

I am currently using Sim4Life 9.6 on a Windows 11 laptop (Lenovo), and I am experiencing an issue with the user interface.
The problem occurs when I try to create a new simulation:
New → EM LF → Electro Ohmic Quasi-Static
The first drop-down menu opens correctly, but as soon as I move the cursor to select a simulation type (for example, EM LF), the menu immediately closes before I can make a selection.
I have already tried the following:
- Restarting Sim4Life
- Running as Administrator
- Using both the touchpad and an external USB mouse
- Testing with different tutorials (Monopole Stimulation and Yoon-sun Arm Stimulation)
The same behavior occurs in all cases.
