Why using a sensor in the simulation changes the results?

Hello,

I'm wondering why the results (for example E-field or SAR value) change after adding a point sensor or line sensor to the simulation?

Thanks

Sensors by themselves do not affect results. However, adding a sensor to a simulation may change the grid, which may change the voxels, which may change the results.

If adding sensors brings "unacceptably large" changes, it is usually a good indicator that your grid was (and probably still is) too coarse.

Thanks for your reply.
