    trying to start linux licensing daemon but failed, some abnormal info in the debug.log

    • Line 81 - Wrong hostid on SERVER line for license file

    • Line 83 - SERVER line says FLEXID=X-XXXXXXXX, hostid is (Can't get hostid of type 15 [Invalid host. (-9,57)])

    • Line 84 - Invalid hostid on SERVER line
      ......

    • Line 189 - No valid hostids, exiting

    • Line 190 - EXITING DUE TO SIGNAL 34 Exit reason 2

    • Line 191 - SPEAG exited with status 34 (Invalid host)

    Environment

    • Sim4Life V7.2

    • Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS

      Before that, it shows “Can't make directory /usr/tmp/.flexlm, errno: 2(No such file or directory)”

        I'using a physical server, run lmhostid will display all 8 nic mac address

        The FlexNet host ID of this machine is ""xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxx""
        Only use ONE from the list of hostids.

          now lmhostid can gotta the right host ID, but lmgrd still the same problem

          The FlexNet host ID of this machine is "xxxxxxxxxxxx"

              Is there any dongle driver for ARM (aarch64) ?

                This looks like the drivers for the dongle are missing or have not been installed. Did you check the manual on how to install drivers for Linux?

                Also, it would help if you send us the full log. You can do that by emailing us at:
