@JKM, I know the issue, however we prefer not to change the visualization method, as the data in the line sensors can be extracted to calculate other quantities of interest. The issue that you experience is for the myelinated fibers using any MRG parameterization (Motor, Small and Motor and Sensor MRG fibers). For Sweeney, Rat, Senn and the unmyelinated Sundt fiber model, the issue does not exist. All the best!

That works! If it's for a 2D plot, you can always right click and export the data to an excel or csv file and then work with that if you'd prefer

Thanks for the answer. I thought there was a way since the VIP models handle this so well, but Python should work as well. Or is there a way to to sort the priorities by entitiy name?

@daolin_qu From the image you posted, I see that you haven't yet load the model, that's why you cannot run yet a simulation. You can do that by clicking on the 'Load Model' icon in the top panel. After that, you can assign sensors and run the simulation. The 'Load Model' initiates the discretization of the axon trajectory into compartments (electric circuits describing the electrophysiology of the specified axon model, i.e. SENN).

I am not sure to be honest why that was an issue for me with that specific version only, I installed the new version and it was there so problem solved!

So definitely max gain it is not useful for my purposes. I wanna construct a more symmetrical radiation pattern and maximize the gain in a certain direction. And of course, I would like to know which parameters I should set up to get such purposes.

Ok, we could set up a call for this ... The Mida model won't really work since it's based on MRI images which doesn't have good contrast for Bone. The typical approach utilizes CT images (known acoustic property maps use CT data as well)

I am using Sim4Life 6.2.1.4972. It happened once when I've had put a high "maximum number of samples" in the time domain (200 I think) with the acoustic head tutorial that I changed a bit, by putting 2 transducers instead of 1. Another time it was weird because it happened with a SEFT targeting a square of skin, which was rather simple but it did crash again. My simulation was probably wrong in a way, but it didn't throw and error and just stopped. But now that I am applying @gbgbha advices, it is fine and thanks for the tip ! I'll try for the file that I lost

Don't worry about the time step, just make sure it's fine enough, Sim4Life will then interpolate your function into it's own timestep as needed (so, you just need to be careful that your timestep is not too coarse such that Sim4Life won't be able to linearly (I think) interpolate it Essentially, the answer is yes, its sufficient
